Hamilton out to redress balance

Lewis Hamilton is looking to make changes to his car in order to reassert his authority over Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg. But Rosberg has claimed the two subsequent Grands Prix, with the German out-qualifying the British ace on both occasions. Hamilton is clearly unhappy with the current situation and feels that alterations to his car after September’s Singapore GP have not been beneficial. “Since Singapore, there have been some changes to our car which seem to have shifted the direction of the ways, so I need to figure out why that is and how I can get back on it,” he said. “I have to try and improve in qualifying.” The former McLaren flyer is keen to end the year on a high in Abu Dhabi and will work hard to try and put right whatever has been preventing him from taking the chequered flag. “Something has shifted in the car, I guess I have been a little bit less comfortable with it,” he added. “I have only just noticed that is the only thing that has changed since things have changed, so maybe I need to go and do some studying and see what I can do to change that.”
