Kiwi rally ace Hayden Paddon has confirmed he will be sticking with Hyundai for next season’s World Rally Championship.The 27-year-old was 14th in his debut season on the world stage, having taken points in five of the six rounds he took part in.
It had been reported that giants Citroen were interested in securing his services, but the
Geraldine native has decided to stick with the familiar.
He will race a minimum of nine rounds, starting with the second event, Rally Sweden, in mid-February.
“We have built some good relationships within the team over the past 12 months and look forward to striving forward with the team,” he says.
“After all, they did give us our break this year. Looking forward to a bigger year, with more events, more seat time and hopefully, better results.”
