MotorMart Racing looking strong ahead of Red Star Raceway Challenge

The MotorMart Racing Team will aim to continue their solid form in Round 5 of the MotorMart VW Challenge at Red Star Raceway.

The July 19-20 race weekend will see their second visit to the circuit or the season. Unlike the opening round, they will however compete around the clockwise layout of the circuit. This will essentially make this a new experience for two of the team’s three drivers.

One of them will be Class A competitor Mohamed Dangor. 2019 has thus far seen him show good pace and race craft while becoming a regular campaigner within the leading group. The previous round at Zwartkops Raceway saw him competing for a podium position and with his ability to quickly adapt to a new circuit, he could well be in contention for a top-three finish.

Stiaan Kriel has been in supreme form in Class B and remains the man to beat heading into the weekend. He will again be aiming for a full house of points against fierce opposition.  Unlike his team mates, Kriel has also competed around the current circuit layout back in 2017.

Also competing in Class B will be Robbie da Silva. In recent rounds Da Silva has shown great improvements in pace while earning a reputation for being a level-headed competitor in race-trim. The upcoming weekend can see him getting even closer to the midfield.
