Reeves rated top Aussie at Rally Australia

Brendon Reeves will start the Kennards Hire Rally Australia as the top seeded local competition in the final round of the World Rally Championship from November 17-20. With sister Rhianon Gelsomino calling the pace notes, Reeves has won maintained an unbeaten record this year with wins in two rounds of the Australian Rally Championship and a triumph in a round of the New Zealand Rally Championship.

reeves-rally-australiaReeves (Subaru WRX) has entered the ASN class of the World Rally Championship and will compete against a quality field of WRC2 teams, the majority of whom have contested multiple WRC events this year.

Reeves and Gelsomino were part of the gravel crew for Hyundai factory ace Hayden Paddon at the recent Rally Spain.

After winning both the National Capital Rally in Canberra and South Australia’s Lightforce Rally, Reeves believes his Subaru is well set up for the event.

 Reeves and Gelsomino last competed in Rally Australia in 2014 and have been using the in-car footage from the 2015 event to familiarise themselves with this year’s stages.
