Bloemfontein youngster Stuart White heads back to Europe for the fifth round of the FFSA French Formula 4 championship and his first race on another great racetrack when the series visits Magny Cours 9-10 September. White is keen on another strong showing following a tough weekend at Spa Francorchamps last time out, but most of all, he can’t wait to strap back into his Formula 4 machine this weekend.
“It’s been a long gap,” Start pointed out. “Too long in fact — it will be three months since we last raced Formula 4, so I can’t wait to get to it! “I’m also really looking forward to racing at Magny Cours and learning another great grand prix circuit — this one is an interesting blend of quick and tight bits so finding the right set-up compromise will be crucial.
“We’ve had some good results but also a little hard luck in Europe so far this season, but I’m looking forward to give it my best again. “I also go there straight off my first Investchem SA Formula 1600 win, so I’m confident too — its just a pity that we have to miss this weekend’s F1600 round, but I suppose it’s for very good reason.”
